FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between FRP and GRP?

GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) is a subset of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic). GRP uses glass fiber — the standard for cost-effective automotive and marine parts; FRP also covers carbon and aramid fiber composites.

Can you make automotive body panels?

Yes — hoods, splitters, diffusers, ducts, spoilers and interior panels are core work for us, including motorsport programs. We ship parts primed and paint-ready, or gel-coated in body colors.

Which process for my quantity?

Hand lay-up suits 1–100 pieces; vacuum infusion for 50–1,000 where weight and void content matter; RTM/SMC above ~500–1,000 pieces per year for two-sided finishes.

How does tooling work for composites?

We CNC-machine or 3D-print a plug, finish it to class-A, then lay the mold. Molds typically run 10–20 days and support hundreds of parts.
